Church and Community Groups
A significant part of our church life and mission is carried out through the following church and community groups and activities:
Church Groups
- Bible Study Group meets every Thursday at 10.30 am for coffee or tea and chat followed by an hour or so studying and discussing the topic for the day. After a time of prayer, meetings finish about 12 noon.
- Coffee morning every Wednesday 10.00 am to 12 noon in the Church Hall. Everyone welcome.
- Craft and Chatter Group meets fortnightly on Tuesdays from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm from September to May. Come along and bring your knitting, crochet or sewing with you!
- Friendship Group meets every second Monday at 2.00 pm in the Church Hall from September to May. All are welcome.
- Singing Group meets every Tuesday evening from 7.15 pm to 8.00 pm in the Church Hall. We are very informal and welcome all new members.
- Walking Group meets for walks usually on first and third Saturdays of each month.
Community Groups
We like to make the Church Hall available for the benefit of the community, and welcome enquiries from groups. Please use the Contact Us page to get in touch.
Some community groups already meet in the Church Hall:
- The Emma MacDonald School of Highland Dancing holds classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays. For details, contact Emma MacDonald School of Highland Dancing on Facebook.
- Saline & District Heritage Society runs a programme of monthly speaker events throughout the autumn, winter and spring. In summer it uses the Session House in Saline churchyard as a Mini Museum. For details see the Saline District Heritage Society website.
- Rainbows and Brownies meet every Monday evening in the Church Hall.
